It is a french swiss restaurant in the alps. We ordered the cheese fondue with beef meat..it was soooo good! Good quality. The service was also amazing, they took care of us really well. The ambience is very classic french. Location was easy to find. My husband and I liked our wine it was a sweet white wine I forgot the name. Overall i highly recommend it. Just one thing..communication can be a challenge since they have limited english. I appreciated how they try. Just that there was miscommunication with the order. The fondue was 45chf per person, we asked if its good for two and the server said yes 🤣 so we ordered it..then it happened its per person..so lesson learned. My main issue is with the manager: he refused to accept a 100 chf bill because it was an old one and they don't accept them anymore. I checked on the internet, it is possible to exchange them at the bank for new ones so he could have accepted it. He then asked us to pay another way, and when we wanted to pay with card, he told us it was minimum 20 chf to pay with card, and to withdraw money instead. Je souhaite porter à votre attention une expérience extrêmement décevante que nous avons vécue dans votre établissement le Vendredi 1er août
Après avoir passé commande, nous avons été confrontés à une attitude inadmissible de la part du personnel. On nous a expressément demandé de quitter les lieux, de manière insistante et sans aucune justification valable. Cette demande a été formulée avec un ton agressif, impoli et sans le moindre respect, alors même que nous étions déjà clients en train de consommer.
Comme si cela ne suffisait pas, au moment de régler l’addition, il nous a été refusé de payer par carte bancaire sous prétexte que notre consommation n’atteignait pas 20 francs. Cette exigence, qui ne nous avait jamais été communiquée à l’avance, nous a semblé totalement arbitraire et peu professionnelle. Un commerçant se doit de proposer des moyens de paiement adaptés, sans imposer de minimum injustifié, surtout dans un cadre où l’accueil et le service laissent déjà à désirer.
Nous avons quitté le restaurant profondément choqués par le manque de courtoisie, de respect et de transparence. Il est regrettable qu’un tel comportement nuise à l’image de votre établissement.
Nous espérons que ces remarques seront prises en compte et qu’une amélioration du service sera envisagée afin d’éviter que d’autres clients aient à vivre une expérience aussi...
