Sporting — Restaurant in Ollon

Bad at best.

1. Refused a four-people table with a view on the valley at 1:30pm, when three were available and while the service is obviously slowing down
2. The filet de perche, announced “Meunière” was bathing in an unpleasant sauce that covers any hope of a taste
3. When invited to amend himself for the poor experience, the owner only had a mumbling of an excuse .. it all felt like this was standard service for the Sporting: none. This is not what Villars stands for. Not to be visited under any...

It's a nice place to eat, atmosphere is ok, the section with the views is the best. We tried the ceasar's salad and the entrecote. Easy, simple and not complicated place. EXTRA bonus that the kitchen is open almost all day, while others close in between lunch and dinner and it's really hard to find other options...

Nous sommes allés dans ce restaurant à 16h de l'après midi pour se boire un petit apéro sur la terrasse. Accueil assez froid, on nous fait comprendre qu'on doit se débrouiller pour trouver une place assise.. Pourquoi pas. Nous attendons alors 5, 10 minutes à une table, personne ne vient. Je vais alors chercher une carte moi-même. Nous attendons encore 5 minutes, 10 minutes, la serveuse sort, débarrasse les tables.. Sauf la notre... Au bout de 20 minutes j'ai finalement dû retourner une 2ieme fois à l'intérieur pour passer commande. Résultat, les boissons arrivent enfin, le soleil s'était couché entre temps et on a du aller à l'intérieur pour enfin pouvoir boire notre verre sans crever de froid. Bref, nous ne reviendrons plus ici. Dommage, sachant que nous y avons un appartement, on aurait préféré vivre une expérience plus agréable...
