Be aware if you go to McDonalds Switzerland, there is NO regular Fanta and Sprite available anymore! (I‘m sorry for the four stars for this but is a very negative point for me, mainly about McDonalds Switzerland)
Fanta Zero and Spite Zero - Why the change?
Just because a minority of the Swiss population (and even globally) can‘t control their sugar and fat content, it‘s absolutely unfair to punish all other people now for it. Completely wrong approach and very disappointing to see from McDonalds. I love my normal, sugary, super tasty Fanta or Sprite with a great meal of McDonalds food.
Thanks for your considerations and taking this back to McDonald‘s Switzerland as feedback! FYI - I also submitted this feedback myself to McDonalds Switzerland.
Having said that, McDonalds Rümlang is great. I have not encountered any unfriendly person, despite it being very busy at times. The service is great and fast, even in busy times (like around lunch breaks). I mostly use drive through. One point re Drive-Through: please change something for the path of the Drive-Through as it‘s extremely tight and, hence, dangerous for car rims/wheels (and car bodys) to drive through; especially at the exit after the last windows, could you try removing all the plants and stones on the right hand side of the turn? And at the arrival, this ‚pavement‘ underneath the ordering place is completely wrong constructed for cars to drive in; its impossible to get close to the microphone and scanner without risking scratches on your rims; also, I see a lot of folks even getting out of the car to scan their codes and loyalty QR codes. It would not only help speed up the ordering process but also ensure safety.
I also always take the Chicken McNuggets menu. The Chicken Nuggets are always crispy and tasty. However, as a slight improvement recommendation, some of the Pommes Frites are sometimes a bit soggy and moist. In contrast, another time, very few of the Pommes Frites even stuck to the paperboard packaging; not sure how this even could happen? This was the first time ever though and I regularly and globally eat quite often McDonalds.
I hope my impression is correct. But it seems that McDonalds is given a bit less napkins with every meal these days; it used to be a handful of napkins (mostly for storage at home ☺️) - good progress here, if this is...
Read moreI would like to inform you about an incident that happened yesterday. I am a delivery driver for Uber Eats. I know that in some McDonald's locations I receive discounts, and in others, I am entitled to a free coffee as a delivery driver. I went inside and asked a woman, whom I believe was the manager, for a coffee. She asked me if I had an order, and I replied that I did not yet. She told me she couldn't give me a coffee if I didn't have an order.
I went outside, and after a few minutes, an order came through on the app. I accepted it and went inside, but it took a while for them to prepare the order. I asked for a coffee, they made it for me, and I picked up the order. I went outside to have a little coffee before getting on my motorcycle, and an employee came out with a threatening and aggressive attitude. She told me to leave because the food would get cold (i didnt stand outside not even 5 minutes). I told her I would leave immediately, but I wanted to drink my coffee first.
She informed me that she would report my name and make a complaint because I was late delivering the food. I wanted to explained to her that she had no right to give me orders since I had accepted the order. I felt like I was facing a racist attack from her. Both employees inside had an aggressive attitude.
They don't realize that we both have employers and are just disposable workers. We should be united, happy, and show solidarity with each other. Our backgrounds or personalities don't matter. To our employers, we are just cogs in a machine that generates money for them. Don't show hostility towards each other while working. Always be smiling and cheerful. This is a small piece of advice from a humble person. I mention this incident only because the employee came outside and threatened to report my name and make a complaint. I just want to inform you we are delivery drivers with moto bikes with a risk all live for delivering food in the rain in the snow!
( We need to drink or coffee before of the order this is a smart movement you didn't allowed me to take my coffee before of the order. How you want to have order and also attack a coffee when i will have time to drink it )
This happened...
Read moreI am an Uber Eats driver and I know I am entitled to a free coffee from McDonald's. However, in this case, I didn’t want coffee, but I needed some water to fill my thermos because I was feeling dizzy. I asked if they could give me some water, but they told me I had to buy it. I didn’t have money with me, nor my card. When I went to the bathroom, the water in the sink was hot, and the bathroom smelled bad, so I couldn’t drink it.
They refused to give me water! How is it possible? Where is the solidarity and humanity? Where has kindness disappeared to? What saddens me the most is that humanity and solidarity seem to be missing, either from people in general or from my colleagues. I work with this specific McDonald's and deliver orders, and I know that in other McDonald's locations, the people are kinder and have a better heart. In this particular store, though, I have often encountered a negative attitude. Above all, we are human beings, and we should show solidarity. I didn’t ask for anything difficult, just some water. Although they didn’t give it to me, I said thank you and took my order to leave. This happened on Friday, early Saturday morning, around 1:55 - 2:00 AM, on February 15th. I just wanted to share this with you...
