I was served this piece of chicken you see in the picture I've uploaded, with those potatoes. The chicken was dry and it's flavour was salt. The potatoes were soft and fresh and salted. The chicken cost 22.50CHF, just the chicken alone! The potatoes were and extra 6CHF. This was the most bland over priced meal I've eaten in my life, however it's typical of the food in Switzerland, well at least the German part of Switzerland. My girlfriend ordered gnocchi which was tasty. The service was terrible, no smiles, no soul, just dead, lifeless service. I did however feel sympathy for the grumpy man serving us and left a small tip for which I received a glimpse of a smile. If you do eat here, don't order the chicken.

Wir waren gestern an einem Samstagabend das erstemal im Restaurant Pizzeria Sorriso. Die Begrüssung war wie bei Italienern freundlich. Die Bedienung ausgezeichnet. Als im Verlaufe des Abends das Restaurant voll war (inklusive aller Säli) sputete unser Kellner richtiggehend um die Tische um all seine Gäste rasch zu bedienen. Meine beiden Begleiterinnen entschieden sich für Pizza ich für Spaghetti Carbonara. Vorspeisen und Hauptspeise wie auch die Desserts kamen rasch. Die Portionen sind sehr gross! Wie bei Italienern üblich wurde ein guter Hauswein und Monatswein angeboten. Eigentlich hat das Restaurant Pizzeria Sorriso fünf Sterne verdient, den Stern Abzug mache ich, weil ich mich an meinem Tisch nicht besonders wohl gefühlt habe. Es ist sehr eng getischt, und da ein Grossteil der neuen Gäste an unserem Tisch vorbei kam, hatte ich laufend Mäntel, Schals oder Handtaschen etwas überspitzt gesprochen "in meinem Teller". Eine meiner Begleiterinnen musste deshalb auch regelmässig ihre Handtasche "schützen" die an ihrer Stuhllehne hing. Etwas unprofessionell fand ich auch als der Chef den 4. Stuhl von unserem Tisch kommentarlos schnappte um ihn an einem weiteren Tisch mehr Platz zu schaffen. Ein "darf ich", oder "Entschuldigen Sie" hätte ich geschätzt. Dies mag kleinlich klingen, da mich aber vor allem die enge Bestuhlung störte, war der Abend nicht vollständig befriedigend. Trotzdem Küche und Service sind Top. Bei einem nächsten Besuch würde ich einen anderen Tisch verlangen.

Wieder einmal ein Restaurant in dem man im „dunklen“ isst. Was für mich immer etwas suspekt ist(darf man nicht genau hinschauen was man da essen soll..?) Bedienung ist seltsamerweise gestresst und gleichzeitig gut gelaunt(?) Die italienische Musik Untermalung hilft da wohl. Vorspeise Salat mit rohem Fenchel, schmeckte mir sogar recht gut(leider mit der typischen italienischen Salatsauce). Pizza war nicht schlecht, nur etwas fade. Wichtig: es gibt keine Sonderwünsche für Kunden. Der Chef packt mit an beim abräumen. Das Dessert Tiramisu war wohl tiefgefroren gewesen. Es war das schlechteste, was ich jemals gegessen habe. Danach hatten ich Bauchschmerzen. Ich überlege diese Rezension zu löschen, da es anscheinend nicht gut ankam und es als negative Einstellung zu diesem Restaurant angenommen wurde. Was nicht der Fall war. Schade, dass man es nicht konstruktiv sah und es so vielleicht ja vom negativem ins positive hätte bringen können. Wenn man keine Kritik verträgt, sollte man vielleicht sie erst gar nicht lesen..? Es ist nur MEINE persönliche Ansicht und Jeder ist da bestimmt anders. Vielleicht mag ja Jemand das „heimelige“ Dunkel oder vielleicht mag ja auch Jemand die Italienische Musik Untermalung. Geschmäcker sind bekanntlich verschieden. Ich lasse mich bestimmt nicht vorschreiben was ich als gut oder schlecht empfinden soll! Und ich erfinde auch keine Dinge!
