WARNING; NOT FOR FAMILIES WITH LITTLE CHILDREN. I realize that we are not their target customers, but since they are well staffed, they should have been able to just serve us our food and let us go. Maybe they purposely wanted to teach us a lesson; not to come back.
It was our first time there. So we didn't know what to expect. We came with little children (3 and 5), arrived around 18:30 on Saturday. After 1 full hour of plain waiting (intertwined with great service THAT DOESN'T BRING YOU THE FOOD), both of our children started crying. They should have warned us about the waiting time or we should have gotten the clue from the prices on the menu. The bottom line is that we got "trapped" there for 2 HR even though we ordered the fastest dishes and ate in less than 15 minutes.
In terms of quality of food, Bomi Goreng was pure disappointment, fast-food-quality. The Vindaloo was a bit bland, definitely not the best I had in Zurich. The Malaysian Nasi Lemak...
Read moreExcellent asian food. They offer Chinese, Indian, Thai and others specialities. Quality is very high and service is outstanding. I love when waiters wear white gloves 🙃 Prices are on the higher side, but totally worth it. From outside it looks rather shabby, but it is made quite nice inside. They can host a large party (large table in separate room). Parking is available outside for free. Seems to be a popular space for birthday dinners of all sizes. We had a couple of them. You probably need to mention this during reservation to get a special treatment (which we didn't). Service and personell are doing a great job. I had the grilled duck with orange sauce (83 ?) - very tasty! Also the deserts are whorth s a look. There is also a buffet for lunch available. Great place that made it on our top list...
Read moreWho would have expected to find great pan-Asian food in a community centre tucked away between Switzerland's largest prison and a busy road? The menu offers iconic dishes from India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, China, and Japan. The breadth of the selection worried me a bit, but everything I tried was lovely. The green papaya salad (Thai) was crunchy, tangy, nicely presented, and had the perfect balance of lime acidity, fish sauce, and chilli heat. The Nasi Goreng (Indonesian) was full of flavours and textures and came with two succulent meat skewers. A refreshing cucumber-mango salad served as a contrasting garnish. Juicy, sweet fresh Indian mango for dessert. Service was friendly but a bit uncoordinated, despite the small...
