Bakeries Baggenstoss — Restaurant in Richterswil

The food here is excellent—easily one of the best bakeries in the region. However, the service really needs improvement.

It can take up to 15 minutes before anyone comes to take your order, and once you do order, items are often forgotten or take a long time to arrive. Even paying can be a drawn-out process, with another 15-minute wait not being unusual.

What’s even more disappointing is that when you politely ask about the delay or try to speed things up, the staff can sometimes respond in an unfriendly or dismissive manner.

This place has so much potential and could be truly great if they managed to improve their service and train their staff in better customer...

Interesting first time for us at this infamous Café, Baäckerei & Konditorei in Richti. Lovely warm welcome from the boss who reserved us a table outside/inside for breakfast / brunch as they were super busy (to make sure we were not bumped by over eager inbound customers) and could get prompt service. Fantastic breads, croissants, cheese, ham and eggs. Super coffees. Service from a couple of staff could do with some guest relations and hospitality “awareness”.
