I was visiting from Australia (where we have fantastic chinese restaurants) and tried various different Chinese restaurants in Switzerland and they were not authentic and didn't taste very good. LUCKY GARDEN surprised me! It is the most authentic Chinese food I have ever had in Switzerland. The customer service is amazing and the owners are super friendly. This place is a must for anyone in Switzerland looking for authentic Chinese food that tastes great with amazing clean flavours. My friends and I stayed there eating until it closed then came in the next day for lunch 😂

Das Essen war demnach auch sehr lecker. Der Service war zu jeder Zeit aufmerksam und professionell. Das Personal war freundlich und gab hilfreiche Empfehlungen zu Speisen und Getränken, was zu einem rundum gelungenen Abend beitrug. Der Chef Lucky managt das Restaurant sehr gut.

Waren zum Jahrestag zum essen da. Der Chef des Hauses hat uns mit viel Humor empfangen. Die Einführung über die Art wie bei ihnen gekocht wird war sehr interessant. Das Essen kam schnell und war der oberhammer. Schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Gerne komme wir immer wider. Ob nur für einen Kaffee, Glace oder ein Mittags Menü. Man wird immer freundlich empfangen. Das Buffet zu Mittag ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Preis Leistung ist perfekt. Letztes Jahr waren wir zum Neujahrsbuffet dort. Es war sehr sehr lecker. Danke für die liebe Gastfreundschaft. Und bis auf bald.

Returning from Friedrichschafen, had some time before catching the train back to Zurich, decided to grab early dinner. The friendly owner greeted us at the door with a handshake. Authentic southern Chinese food, with large portions which we both could not finish, despite stuffing ourselves. We ordered 3 dishes, which could actually feed 4 persons. (Photo of 2 dishes submitted) Excellent food quality, balance of flavours with "wok's breath" of intense flames, heat infused into the stir-fried food! Easily our new favorite restaurant! We have been let down by a few Chinese restaurants here in Switzerland before but, this place absolutely went above and beyond in terms of food, atmosphere and service. Classic Chinese dishes cooked and served at a VERY high level! The crispy duck was easily the best we have had in decades (or ever) and worth the trip alone.

Service is quick, friendly and also a highlight! Just good people who obviously know what they're doing. Cannot wait to go...
