Burgers? and Thai food? I admit, I was skeptical...especially about getting good Thai food in the middle of Switzerland. But I'm no longer a skeptic. My boyfriend and I split a green curry, spring rolls, and sweet and sour pork (ok, ok, so this isn't exactly Thai, but read on) and all were very good. The sweet and sour pork wasn't overly sweet and the curry was flavorful with a good spiciness level. The proprietor/manager even invited us to have a taste of a Thai liver dish - which was good too (and I don't even like liver!). They also have a great wine selection (but if you drink your bottle there, watch out for the very high corkage fees!). The service was great and our waiter was friendly and professional. The only disappointment was the ice cream dessert...prepackaged mini containers of ice cream (which was not that tasty). Other than that, a very good experience...would like to try their other Thai items (and burgers)...

Without a doubt a fantastic evening. Having had the opportunity to visit the restaurant this spring, I took advantage of a weekend nearby to come and eat at 16 Art, and it was most definitely a fantastic choice.

On arrival, the setting itself is superb - a quaint little garden (in full bloom when we were there) and a charming dinning room & bar. The menu changes each day (and with the previous days' menus behind the current one, they all look great) and the dishes did not disappoint.

The service was also great. Everyone working was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Coming over regularly to ask what was needed, giving advice - especially choosing the wine from their very full wine card!

This will most definitely be a restaurant to return to, and all of our party would gladly recommend to any visitor...

This is probably my favorite place in the Saanen-Gstaad region. The food is consistently outstanding and locally sourced. On this visit, I had perfectly cooked veal, preceded by a simple but fresh salad, and finished with a selection of local cheeses.

The service is always exceptional—warm and welcoming. They also have a well-curated wine list. It’s an ideal spot for a Sunday afternoon aperitivo on the terrace, and just as inviting in winter, with a cozy bar area.

What makes 16 truly special is how it brings together both locals and the international crowd, creating a unique and vibrant atmosphere....
