PLASTIC FOUND IN FOOD

I found 2 pieces of large plastic in my food which has cut my tooth gum very badly. Waitress took plastic away with no apology. No one came to my table to discuss what had happened or offer me an explanation. I asked the Thai waitress to get me the manger. She asked me why I wanted to see the manager as they had taken the item off my bill. I therefore had to walk to the counter to find a senior manager. After I asked for an exclamation as to how plastic was found in my food I was told they didn’t know and would ask their supplier. After a very difficult conversation they took my meal off the bill. I was still expected to pay for my drinks and partners meal. No genuine apology at all.

I am absolutely appalled and disgusted by finding plastic in my meal and the lack of care by the staff. I will be reporting this incident to the food trading standards authority to start an investigation into this...

I never write reviews but in this instance I feel it is very important to share my experience.

My partner found 2 pieces of large plastic in her food which cut her gum. The waitress took the dish and plastic away and presented it to the management, which I could see from where I was sat. The manager began walking towards our table but disappeared through a side door and didn’t return. No one came to our table to discuss what had happened or to offer an explanation or apology. When my partner asked to see the manger the waitress asked why we wanted to see them as the offending item had been taken off the bill. My partner had to walk to the counter to find a senior manager. After a very difficult conversation they took my meal off the bill but she was still expected to pay for the remaining items.

The main concern is the lack of accountability and lack of concern or apology.

Very disappointing...

As a Chinese that used to travel a lot to Thailand, I can only vouch for this restaurant. I was a little unsure when I placed the orders, but then the Som Tam came out very impressive. It could pass for a street food level som tam in Thailand, and trust me that’s the highest compliment I have for a som tam. I ended up saying this to the waitress, and she replied with a lifted smile, “it’s a Thai chef”. So yeah, true spirit Thai and Chinese food if you’re...
