Mezze — Restaurant in Schlieren

We had a take away today. The Falafel was very delicious. We paid for a satisfying wrap and soft drink CHF 12.--. The service was friendly and when we started to leave he called us back and said the soft drink is included in the price. We both had a bottle of still water. This made the price/goods relation exception ell. Normally this is often charged extra for CHF 4.--. So the price was exceptional good for the goods we received. I would definitely stop there again when I am around. You might ask why not 5 stars when I am as happy as I write. I give 5 stars when ist is absolutely impossible to be better. There are some points which I consider very important. This is cleanliness. The take away side of the restaurant would benefit from more care in cleaning surfaces. I do not like when surfaces show wipe marks from cleaning. I know this is hard work but if this would have not been obvious I would definitely...

Was introduced by a friend, and so far have been there quite a number of times. Great people. Location is good with a lot of metered parking spaces unless you are the lucky one to get a couple of the restaurant's free parking spots. The ambience is good, spaces between tables are good, selection of food is also good .. I've got to say as close to the authentic lebanese food as one can get in Switzerland. Prices are also not bad. They have some menu selections for 2, 3, 4 persons, but I've got say unless you are a super big eater the menu for 2 would be enough for 3 or 4 persons.

The only minus point is probably the slow service in my last visit, despite only a handful of patrons.

Located in a commercial area in Schlieren, not too far from the train station. By car is also straight forward though your Sat Nav may not take you through the most straight forward route...

My friend and I had a fabulous experience at Restaurant Mezze when we went there for dinner on April 27th, 2023. One very important point that led me to choose this place: The meat served here is halal, so it suits Muslims needing this.

We ordered the mezze platter for 2 with meats & other items and we had the mint tea in a pot, which was refilled with hot water as needed. The tastes, the attractive way the food was presented along with the very friendly & attentive waiters made our evening a true delight!

Parking is easily available at the restaurant, and if their 2 parking spots are taken, there are many more right along the road.
