10 minutes after being there I regretted my choice. I knew i wouldn’t enjoy it and I should have go for another option in the street. The starting egg came with some random mousse and foam that didn’t compliment each other. The meat was not tender nor juicy. The dessert was under cooked. Even worse was the service. I often go alone to restaurants but that doesn’t mean I deserve less attention than 2 peoples table. The waiter, didn’t bother to set my table up (no salt&pepper, no flowers, no napkin. Then I always had to ask for drinks. Never he cared about water or wine. When bringing my 2dl of wine, the waiter delivered it to the table next to me and poured it into the glass of a lady. A small hidden gem of a restaurant in the back streets of Sion town centre. A rare example of gourmet French cuisine, with every item arranged with care on the plate. The food is much more extravagant than most other restaurants and the price is slightly higher accordingly. For us, it was worth it to treat ourselves to something out of the ordinary. The staff were particularly welcoming and kind towards our young children, even though the menu was not particularly adapted to their tastes. Abbiamo preso il menù degustazione pesce. Beh che dire..Nulla di entusiasmante, tutto il pesce coperto da salsine e intingoli che ne nascondevano interamente il gusto. Peccato, xchè si sarebbe potuto fare molto, soprattutto con 140 franchi a testa. Vengo dal mare quindi magari un pò più critico x questo, ma oggettivamente con quella materia prima si poteva fare molto meglio. Un ultima cosa in un menù degustazione sarebbe bene se la persona che ti porta il piatto te lo descrive brevemente per esaltare la materia prima che si sta proponendo.
