LE SIL'O — Restaurant in Sion

We visited Le Sil'o for dinner last month as a table of six. All of us enjoyed the food, which has lots of vegetarian options, was delicious and arrived quickly despite a full restaurant.

The waiter we had was very kind - although it seemed like he was doing most of the work for the entire floor which meant you had to work hard to grab anyone's attention at times.

I've read a lot of the reviews here that mention the music was too loud for peoples tastes. I think it provides a cool vibes for a bar, but if you are looking for somewhere for a social dinner, the volume here just won't allow it.

Finally - one the first times I have ever experienced this, but when we arrived and were seated, one of the staff (presumably in charge of social media) was walking around with her phone filming the whole restaurant without anyone at any of the tables consent as far as we could see. I have to say this felt a bit weird.

I am not sure I would be back for dinner - cocktails and...

Today we are left with a terrible impression. The woman who served us on 02/14/2023 at 14:00 was a blonde, of the Korean nation, looked at us as if we had come to HER house. She brought us the wrong order, and when we asked her to replace it, she came to our table and began to sort things out, that WE told HER something wrong. Instead of silently apologizing and bringing that dish. She was talking so LOUDLY that she woke up my baby. After they brought us the right dish, but there was absolutely no mood to eat it. This was my worst experience since I was already your client and I liked everything. I dreamed of coming to you, but unfortunately, I will never come here again and will not advise anyone.

UPD: Please, teach your waiter that find me in social media and write me bad comments its not...

Thaïlandais??? Dénomination usurpée ! Végétariens, passez votre chemin… Il faut admettre que le lieu est insolite et bien aménagé. Peut-être qu’en soirée pour boire un cocktail et passer un bon moment c’est cool.

Gastronomiquement, c’est clairement pas ce qui est écrit sur le site internet du lieu: « Une cuisine Thaï authentique qui saura vous surprendre » — On a pas forcément l’été surpris en bien. « Des produits de qualité afin d’exprimer toute la richesse de cette cuisine aux saveurs subtiles et parfumées » — Rouleaux de printemps avec une drôle de texture (congelés ce jour là ?) — Des nouilles archi-cuites sautées aux légumes pas du tout thaïlandais. « Des plats riches d’influences asiatiques diverses » — Selon la carte du site, pour les végétariens, 3 plats sur 4 proposés avec du Tofu mais pas de Tofu, c’était un de mes critères puisque 2 personnes sur les 3 que j’invitais ce jour là étaient végétariennes. Pour le repas de midi, dommage que la musique ait été si forte, faites une différence entre un repas sympa et une soirée branchée SVP! Si je peux me permettre une dernière critique, la réservation online est super stricte avec le délai d’arrivée (dépassé de 15’ votre table ne sera pas garantie), c’est compréhensible mais alors, cher restaurateur, soyez-le également avec le reste — Prix affichés sur la carte du site pas les mêmes que sur la carte du restaurant, vérifiez que votre chef cuisinier achète les ingrédients de base d’un resto d’influences asiatiques, afin de pouvoir proposer à vos clients ce qui figure sur la carte (Tofu, légumes Taï) Au pire, informez le serveur que certains plats ne sont pas disponible, cela lui évitera de se sentir mal à l’aise lorsqu’il passe la commande et doit informé le client qu’il n’y a pas de Tofu. Points positifs: Le serveur s’est excusé en offrant deux carpaccio d’ananas aux dames végétariennes, les quantités...
