Wiler Restaurant — Restaurant in Spiez

This restaurant is not in the old part of Spiez and thus a bit off the tourist path. That means it's got a lot more local flavour, from the group of regulars playing cards in back and the constructions workers out on the patio sharing a beer. And that was recommendation enough for us. We wanted to try something more local and less tourist, and the Wiler fit that bill nicely. The food was really good and had a lot of Swiss options, as well as the standard pub fare. No complaints about anything on the menu...

The Rahmschnitzel was the best thing I have tasted in a while. We were here quite late (after their closing hours) sitting outside and the owner brought out blankets for all the guests that were still here. Highly recommend if you want some delicious traditional Swiss food...

Spontan zu zehnt ein Tisch reserviert, nachdem wir stundenlang nach einem Restaurant gesucht haben, welches auf unserem Weg liegt und Preislich uns nicht ins Verderb bringt. Da haben wir das Wiler gefunden :)

Wir waren absolut begeistert! Das Essen kam dafür, dass wir zehn Leute waren, gut in der Zeit und hat super geschmeckt. Es wurden reichlich an Gewürzen/ Soßen gebracht und der Service war herrlich nett und hat uns super bedienen können. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt, trotz der gelegentlichen sprachbarriere, da nur ein Teil von uns ungarisch und ein Teil deutsch/ gebrochenes deutsch sprach. Super nette Damen :)

Das Essen war frisch und die Portionen richtig gut, jeder wurde satt! Es gibt eine menge Plätze innen aber außen auch genug- mit toller Aussicht.
