Aiola al porto — Restaurant in Stansstad

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my wife birthday with my family. Previous day i personally telephoned them and said two of us with kids gonna come to their restaurant to for a dinner and i want something special to make her happy as it was her 3oth birthday. The person was on the phone said he noted it and they gonna arrange a surprise dessert for her. we were there on that day and had our dinner and ordered our dessert.it took more than half an hour to arrive and i didn't notice anything special on it. however we had it and i personally went to the counter and informed it and asked why didn't they arrange anything special as already discussed. They simply answered and said they forgot that do due to some reasons and can be arrange something after on. But we were about to leave the restaurant and personally regret it. But have noted they had arranged something nicely to another lady sitting next to us but easily had neglected to do something for us. SHAME ON YOU all ...... i was so pissed and left the restaurant with disappointment. food was Ok but delicious food could be found at any other restaurants also. Thanks for destroying our special evening..... Never...

It's a family business, an amazing Portuguese family born in Switzerland, but somehow able to serve me in English and in French, because I come from Montréal. Then they started speaking Italian to my wife. They're serving food while cracking jokes with us. But now about the food - I have the most difficult taste on Earth. My family is Armenian from Aleppo. We have an explosion of tastes inside every dish we eat. So nothing impresses. I've toured 9 countries in Europe and found nothing that captivated my tongue. Except... Here. I took a Pizza Gamberoni, but asked them to make it extra spicy and add onions. Guys, there's nothing like this pizza. After trying pizzas even in Italy, I can truly say that this one was by far.. The BEST PIZZA on this continent. Must try. Their building entrance looks like Jurassic Park 1 entrance. Their hallway looks like a fancy hotel, but the seating gives you a multi billionaire...
