Restaurant L'Alpage — Restaurant in Vex

Having booked a table (for 6 people), they made us wait outside for 20 mins in the cold. When we were allowed inside, there were 3 empty tables for 6 people. They sat us right next to the open door, saying they couldn't give us the others because a party of 8 could sit there. It was freezing. I put an extra jumper on, was sitting there in my coat and with a blanket from outside. They sat a party if 3 at one of the other tables and a party of 6 at the other. The food was also poor. I had salmon which was dry and overcooked. My husband's rosti was so hard on the outside, it was very unpleasant. Disgraceful...

J'ai récemment découvert ce restaurant, un petit coin d'Italie caché au cœur des pistes. Les pizzas sont tout simplement divines, avec une pâte fine et croustillante à souhait. J'ai l'impression d'avoir fait un voyage à Naples sans quitter ma ville.

Le soir où je m'y suis rendu, j'ai eu la chance d'assister à une scène digne d'un film de Fellini. Le serveur, un homme grand et barbu, a commencé à chanter une aria d'opéra entre deux commandes. Les autres clients, plutôt surpris au début, se sont rapidement laissés emporter par l'ambiance et ont commencé à fredonner en chœur. J'ai même cru voir un groupe de touristes japonais et éthiopiens sortir leurs smartphones pour filmer la scène.

Pour accompagner ma pizza, j'ai choisi un burger . Un délice ! J'ai l'impression que le chef a utilisé une recette secrète transmise de génération en génération. La texture était onctueuse, le goût intense et le cornichon... ah, ce cornichon ! C'était comme une petite tasse de bonheur.

En sortant du restaurant, j'ai eu l'impression de quitter une famille. Je recommande vivement ce lieu à tous ceux qui cherchent une expérience culinaire authentique et...
