Marketed as a fine dining / cafe experience, this place truly is more of a canteen experience. When attempting to get a reservation over call, the lady says “you won’t need a reservation for two”. On place, not only is the place almost full, there are many “reserved” signs. We scout out an empty table without one, the lady moves us by saying it was reserved (why no sign then?).

I would say this place urgently needs more personal, one doorman that explains you that this is SELF SERVICE and where to go to order and pay. Also one more waiter and one dedicated cashier. Instead, only one lady was switching from waiter to cashier to talking with the cooks - leaving the register open and the people waiting.

The food was okay, it served its purpose of getting you fed and tasted nice. I however did not really enjoy that most of it is “premade”. I wanted no cheese in a panini and that wasn’t possible because it was already made, just heated up. For the price of the food, I see I’m not the only one to complain in here about its similarity to grocery store bought sandwiches.

Please get more personal, improve logistics and food quality, for a very touristy area and a nice spot and building right next to the castle, it could definitely...

It's a nice cafe-restaurant. After visiting the castle, my friend and I just walked in this place having our lunch. They provided plenty of choices, from hot food to cold snacks, desserts, candys, hot/cold drinks, wine, beers. Since my friend is vegetarian, she is tiny bit picky which she would like to have some hot food instead of salad in this cold weather. The chef proposed and personalized the plate for her, she was very happy in the end. I took "Rosti" and it was not bad at all. We almost sat there for almost the whole afternoon chatting and relaxing. Cafe Byron is a very chill and clam place for friends and family, their staffs were very nice. We both like it here and will definitely come...

I had the fish of the day which was made gluten and garlic free for me by the absolutely wonderful personnel. They were just so kind, helpful and welcoming! Great memories! Thank you Frederic and team 🙏

I did burn myself on the very hot metal barrier around the restaurant as it was a hot day but the cafe staff are aware and have been asking the castle to remedy this issue so it's not on them. The bag filled with ice Frederic gave me helped the burn heal...

Right next to the castle , very beautiful view. The person in charge is very nice, friendly and helpful even its self service inside. He’s trying his best to take care everyone. They provide simple food , we had lunch there and I must say the food is above average and price also fair. The ingredients is fresh and they prepare after your order. I recommend this place for a quick lunch or drinks.
