The food was delicious. The building itself is beautiful with a nice ambiance.

The service, however, left a lot to be desired. They tried to upsell us on much more food than we needed, aggressively; soup, salad, separate appetizers per person, beer/wine, and dessert. We were ordering a normal quantity of food (appetizer for the group, individual entrees, couple of drinks, etc) - more was not needed and went to waste. Upsold/recommended a cheap children's frozen dessert to adults in order to sell a €5 cup it came in.

At the end of the meal, the waiter requested a tip.

This is a business - they're here to make a profit, and I won't disparage them that - but rather than being treated with dignity as guests we were treated as tourists to wring out whatever they could. I would not return and would not recommend it to anyone traveling in the region.
