Sports pub atmosphere, noisy, with several large tvs to watch sports. But the burgers (which is supposedly their specialty) are very mediocre. I was very disappointed. After seeing a menu that is based mostly on burgers I thought they would have good burgers, but not. I asked for a cheeseburger without onion and they told me “not possible to make it without onion”,,, what the …???? The meat was very thick, dry and overcooked. The “cheddar cheese” option is some kind of liquid cheese sauce, it’s not real cheese. Food was very disappointing. Not a place to go for food. This is my favorite pub at Winterthur. It has everything you need, while you are watch a game at the TV. If you take the Bus Nr. 3 from the Winterthur Main Station to the Eishalle Station you just have a walk like two minutes. (Totally like 15 minutes)

Bin letzten Freitag spontan losgezogen um mal wieder unter Leute zu kommen und evtl. nebenbei ein wenig Fussball zu schauen. Freundlicherweise wurde mir kurz nach meiner Ankunft sogar auf Anfrage ermöglicht den Bundesligastart von den Beyern zu schauern (in der Hoffnung das sie mal verlieren). Kurz vor Spielbeginn noch schnell einen Burger bestellt, der überraschender Weise sogar zeitnah serviert wurde. Auch die grosse Auswahl an diversen Bieren vom Fass sowie unfassbar vielen Flaschenbieren fand ich beeindruckend. Empfehlen kann ich definitiv den Long Island Ice Tea. Aber was mich wirklich überzeugt hat und für mich der Grund ist zukünftig die Spiele des BVBs in dieser Location abzufeiern, ist das vielfältige und lockere Publikum. Ich fand die Atmosphäre sehr entspannt und freue mich das kommende Wochenende. Ein grosses Lob auch an die Küche und meinen grössten Respekt an die freundlichen Servicekräfte.
