-- as follow up to Residence Zugs questions; The problem is that the description on hotels.com is inaccurate. Residence Zug is not a hotel in itself - but an annex building to a neighbouring hotel. On arrival, I had to walk round the building repeatedly to find out how to get in - but there is no reception. I met a pleasant employee who told me to check in at the neighbouring hotel - which was not indicated anywhere. So by the time I got my keys I had spent about 40 minutes. The room is large - but there are almost no electrical outlets, however, it is perfectly fine and works well. Breakfast is again at the neighbouring hotel - which is OK - but still not optimal if you expect everything to take place under the same roof. All services like check in / check out, breakfast, etc. needs to be checked at the Park hotel only as the Residence doesn't have a reception or restaurant of its own.
There's a swimming pool at the basement but we didn't try it since it was too lonely.
The breakfast at the Park hotel was good. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There's a sun room/balcony too attached with the room which is nice.
