Barcelona in Zurich is a gem for anyone craving authentic Spanish cuisine. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for an incredible dining experience.
We tried a variety of dishes, starting with the vegetarian and seafood paella. The seafood was incredibly fresh, featuring langostine, prawns, clams, and mussels, all cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and balanced, making it one of the best paellas we've had outside of Spain.
The tapas selection was equally impressive. The Pimientos de Padrón had just the right touch of heat, the Patatas Bravas were crispy and flavorful, and the **fried artichokes were a delightful surprise. The mushroom croquettes were creamy and packed with umami, while the jamón croquettes added a savory contrast. The tortilla was perfectly cooked, striking a delicate balance between firm and creamy.
What truly set Barcelona apart was the exceptional service. The owner personally came out to check on us, ensuring that everything was perfect. His passion for the food and hospitality was evident, making the experience even more memorable.
With an excellent selection of vegetarian options and top-tier seafood, Bafcelona is a must-visit for Spanish food lovers in Zurich. Highly...

Prices above average - 200 CHF for 2 people (starters, main, drinks - see attched) Atmosphere: very modest, then again the restaurant was open only 9-10 months ago. Kuche WG: we had to pay 38 CHF for kitchen risks... A "can I get a witness?" moment we were totally not expecting.
Would I go back? Why... Yesterday downtown in a fancy restaurant (great atmosphere and great food) for similar food (starters, main, drinks plus desert & coffee) we paid 220 CHF for 4...

Fantastic restaurant with truly authentic Spanish cuisine! The owner and chef has worked at top places like Casa Aurelio, Restaurant Madrid, and Gonzalez, and it shows in the quality and taste of the food. Some dishes are based on his grandmother’s original recipes, which adds a special touch. The service is friendly and generous, with extra servings and a warm welcome every time. Great food, great atmosphere — one of the best places for real Spanish food in...
