Dapura Mia — Restaurant in Zurich

I had the pleasure of dining at Dapura Mia and it truly felt like a comforting taste of home. I tried Bakwan and Satay as starters the Rendang, Soto Betawi, Nasi Goreng, bebek goreng and Ikan Bumbu as my main course, telur gulung as dessert and each dish was beautifully seasoned, authentic, and cooked with heart. The rendang was tender and rich in spices, the soto had a creamy depth that instantly transported me to Jakarta, and the ikan bumbu was perfectly balanced, I’m so satisfying.

Their homemade iced tea was refreshing and paired so well with the spices in the dishes. You can tell a lot of care and love goes into the preparation here.

The service was warm and attentive, it felt like being welcomed into someone’s home. And though the place is humble in size, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

Was there for dinner last friday. The staffs saw me standing there but just let me wait at the entrance for so long without greeting, until i saw my friend and went inside myself. We ordered satay chicken skewers fried rice which we got only fried rice. We did not notice that since we were too concentrated on chatting (our fault).
