Me and my friends went for a brunch last Sunday. We reserved a table but we had to wait 20 minutes standing because apparently they forgot to prepare it. After we had some questions about some drinks and juices but the waiter couldn’t answer our simple questions and we had to wait for another person to take the order. We asked to try 2 different Rosé because we wanted to take a bottle and when the waiter brought us the 2 wines he said that could be a bit different because they had a bottle which was open from the morning and the sparkles where already gone. I find this excuse terrible. How can a client understand the taste of a Prosecco if the bottle was without sparkle? It took more than 1 hour just to take our order for the food. After we wanted also some deserts but the waiter brought us also the wrong cake. In general we waisted more than 2 hours waiting.. I recommend to check the bill at the end because the counted 2 bottles of wine instead of 1 that we drunk and also the prices written on the bill where not the ones written on the menu 😑 The food was the only thing that was good but due the bad service I don’t think I’m gonna visit this...

Overall a pretty neat place - lots of plants hanging, urban garden atmosphere. What is weird is their water policy - our party had 5 people - while 3 wete seated, the waiter asked if we want water. Having read the previous comments, I said id like tap water (owner disputed the negative review by writing tap water is a free option and zurich was wonderfully clean tap wayer). The waiter said thats not an option, they have 5 chf/person filtered water. So i ordered a soda instead, 1 person in our party ordered water. The waitress ended up bringing 4 carrafes of water and charging us 25Chf... for water... that 1 person ordered. also very pushy with appetizers, got asked 4 times... the food is okay - i expected a "wow" from something, at least from one bite, but it was "okay". Server was friendly, but pushy. Paid 350 CHF for 5 people. When we tried to pay our separate bills it was very awkward to explain that we did not in fact order nor drink all the water and if they can please not charge that. They should change their policy - please let people just order what they want instead of bringing 20-30chf "worth of water" to...

I was so excited to finally visit this place as I heard positive feedbacks about brunch here, but unfortunately this was my first and last visit. The thing is that I’m a big fan of gnocchi. If I see them in menu - I order. There are no other options for me. I’ve tried so many variations of the dish but honestly, these are the worst gnocchi I’ve ever tried. Simply because they have absolutely zero taste. I mean, they taste like nothing. I asked my friend to try and she agreed with me. So I asked for salt but it didn’t really change the thing. Besides that, the service is slow and prices are high which is fine for me if I get good food, unfortunately they have quite bad price/quality ratio. Also, when you receive a reservation confirmation email it’s written that “In case of No-Show without cancellation (min. 24 hours in advance) we allow ourselves to charge a CHF 20 fee per person for not showing up”. You see this message when the reservation is already made! They don’t notify you about this in advance so be sure you’ll not cancel your reservation last minute or better to...

This is the best brunch place! And not only in Zurich, but worldwide. My boyfriend and me travel a lot and go to restaurants and brunches a lot. It is rare when I am satisfied. I usually leave bad review in 9/10 cases, and good review jn 1/10 only. This The Artisan place exceeded all expectations! I cannt express enough how good the food is. The quality, the recipe and the beauty at the highest level! The fruit bowl had lots of fresh fruits, high quality cereals, extremely good high quality yogurt and fruit jam - it was not sweet! It is so rare to have a cereal/ yogurt bowl which is not sweet. And these guys achieved it! I love it a lot! Then, the main course was another piece of art, super tasty and original. I loved real forest mushrooms there (saffron milk cups), fresh peas and pea paste, etc. I loved it very much. It looks like they use farm organic ingredients. This brunch was modern, healthy, unique! I am very grateful to the chef, the owner and the team for making such a wonderful delicious food 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.

Easily the best restaurant experience in the last 6 months, maybe the year. Delightful, casual and appealing decor, which doesn't feel cluttered or crowded beautifully sets the tone and scene for great food. There were five of us, we were seated and served promptly, with drinks and snack items appearing within minutes. Crunchy salty root vegetable chips, baby carrots with humus, edamame got us started. We all selected vegetarian meals, gluten free was an option but none of us chose it. Everything was carefully presented, with seasonal vegetables, and a good mix of textures and flavors. With four different mains between the five of us, no one felt that they had selected the worst choice, we were all delighted. The sticky toffee pudding at the end was maybe a bit too much after everything before it, but went down well. Would love to return as soon as I can. Great place.
