Wild West — Restaurant in Zurich

Was there on the 15th of August 2021 with a special needs person. It had begun to rain, but we were protected under a roof at the very edge of the restaurant's seating area. Restaurant was not full at all, possibly because folks had been wary to go out with the impending summer storm coming. Nevertheless, the staff seemed incredibly impatient, bordering on rude. Food was OK. For such a beautiful, frequented locale, I would have expected much more sensitivity and customer orientation. Staff need to be trained or replaced. The attitude and behavior of a bouncer is OUT-OF-PLACE in the normal, day-to-day, and especially when one is there with a handicapped person. Even though I had visited this particular restaurant now and again over many years, I have decided to no longer give them my business. Fix you attitude. P.S. Good steakhouse with tons of personality to make you feel like you are in the wild west. The place is huge, with plenty of tables indoors and outdoors. Located at the border of Irchelpark, it is in a beautiful area surrounded by trees. It has a few parking lots too. The atmosphere of the place, full of décor from the wild west, and the location are the highlights of the place.

The best part of the food was the meat, which you prepare to your liking on a hot stone. It was tender and delicious, and the hot stone is a lot of fun. There's plenty of choices and sizes for the meat. The sides and sauces were okay. The best was the salad buffet.

On a Sunday evening, there were a few guests but plenty of space. You'll likely find a spot without booking in advance. Great for families and larger groups.

The service was good but not super friendly. Prices were fair for Zurich. We may be back again when the nice weather allows...

It was one of my favorite steakhouses in Zurich. I went there without my Swiss husband for the first time. Waiter was arrogant, rude and impatient this time. He was friendly all the other times. Is it because of my poor German or we were only Asians? He was friendly with Swiss customers this time, too. It was a weekday and they did not serve hot stone at lunch. The food was just average. The location is still amazing but not sure if I want to go here again…
