This is a special experience for people like us who have been living in urban areas for most of our lives. The food is amazing, and you can see how the chef and owner put in a lot of effort in not only preparing these Amis-style dishes but also restoring and presenting the history behind them. In terms of price, very reasonable as well. We will be back...

Delicious and colorful indigenous restaurant started by a sixth generation Amis (Kakupa clan) tribe who seeks to preserve her culture and tribe’s cuisine. Everything was so fresh and tasty. 上週六晚上七點依約前往芭洋Amis餐廳 可能因為是當天最後一組抵達的客人 賺到了闆以及闆娘芭洋在門口的熱情迎接 我們被安排在最角落的四人座 當我還在外面拍照的時候 同行的朋友已經先行入座 在我就坐時,朋友們對我比了個讚 我便知道,她們也喜歡這個地方 當初會認識芭洋餐廳,記得是從一本雜誌 無奈後來拜訪了池上數次 都陰錯陽差地錯過 這回終於如願以[嚐] 挑高的用餐場域,雖然沒有空調,在夏天的晚上也不覺得悶熱 餐廳入口設置有飲料bar,提供有冰的仙草茶與檸檬水,熱飲是玄米綠茶

接著,說一下當天的餐食感想 《苦瓜雞湯》 飯前先以這碗湯暖胃 苦瓜的甘甜加上雞肉 讓整碗湯相當鮮甜美味 朋友們忍不住都續了第二碗 《自己種的池上米》 闆說這飯好吃的秘訣是用二種不同的米所煮成,再加上紅藜,營養滿分 《獵人的杜魯》 杜魯是獵人揹在背上的竹編籃。而這道菜意味著盤裡的都像是竹籃裡盛裝着山上所採集來的果實、地瓜、芋頭以及野菜。 沒有過度的調味,可以吃到最原始的味道 《過貓花生粉芥末沙拉》 過貓即過溝蕨的嫩莖葉,台灣原住民中以阿美族最識此菜,族語稱呼「pahko」。 本來就愛過貓菜的我,這是第一次吃到用花生粉與美乃滋來調味,很驚豔 《勇士豆洋蔥梅子醋沙拉》 沒有嗆辣反而相當清甜的洋蔥,拌上微酸的梅子醋汁,爽口開胃 《塩麴炒季節時蔬》 朋友很驚訝原來酒釀也可以用這樣的鹹味來呈現,用筷子取一小撮,然後搭配著綠色葉菜一起吃,也是初嚐試的滋味 《烈火頭目烤豬肉》 原住民的烤豬肉,我想就不用多做介紹,要不是因為還有一整隻烤魚需要解決,一定當場嗑光。打包沒吃完的烤豬肉回飯店,配上冰啤酒,超讚的啦。 《部落鹽烤魚》 這大概是不愛吃魚的我,近期吃最多魚肉的一次。鮮嫩的台灣鯛烤到魚肉都出汁,擠上點檸檬,再用手捏點胡椒鹽灑上,停不下來的一口接一口 《甜米露》 甜米露是芭洋私釀的小米酒,冰鎮過後,相當好喝 餐後的點心是《小可愛麻吉》&《酒釀水果丁》,Q軟的麻吉與色彩豐富的水果丁為這個晚宴畫下了一個完美ending
