There are way better bubble tea stands all over Taipei. In general, Taiwanese people are friendly and extremely helpful, but the lady who served us was rude and impatient. She is the first rude person I've encountered and I've visited Taipei several times, each time for extended visits. I was watching her serve our kids who were the only 2 people in line and she did so reluctantly as if she had somewhere to go something better to do. I thought...this bubble tea better be good if we are to subject ourselves to this terrible and unfriendly service, but it wasn't. The drink was loaded with sugar and the bubbles are hard. Stay away from the bubble tea stands that are franchises. If you want great bubble tea, stick to the one of a kind bubble tea stands. There are many in Shida market that serve way...
