I’ve been here several times. A good place to focus in the period that has less customers.
The coffee shop is located at first floor of an old apartment near by the biggest park in Taipei. It is decorated by wooden furniture and nice lighting. Sitting beside windows can get enough daylight to read books. Other seats are more suitable to use laptops.
The staffs are nice with lovely smiles and attentive. Drinks are okay. If you are looking for high-quality coffee or tea, then they are not. The food is decent. Try the smoked salmon salad, which is good. Plus, the shop’s changed their menu occasionally so enjoy the surprise. They’re not served the beef salad now, which they did and was mentioned in previous comments. But, sizes are a little bit small (compared to its prices). So, consider to stay here for a while or it’s not worthy.
Workday is quiet here and not much costumers. On the other hand, in the weekend sometimes it is hard to find a place to stay. So, booking first is just a nice way; especially, you desire to sit next to the windows or in the sofas (only two tables). Noted that from 11:00 to 13:00 in the weekend, there’re often too many people chatting here, which is noisy and not suitable for studying.
Overall, it is a still a good place to...
Read moreThis cafe has a really nice atmosphere. Nice wooden floors and tables, interesting decorations, non-intrusive music. The staff are very attentive, always making sure your water glass is full etc. The menu has several vegetarian items, but as a vegan, there is not much I can eat here. The best I could get was a sandwich with tofu, lettuce, and mushrooms which was very good, but the bread probably had some milk in it. If you can eat a little dairy, you will find things to eat. The only thing that stops me from coming here more often is the prices. A pot or earl grey tea is NT200! A glass of Coke is $100. I don't think they have anything on the menu less than $100. But the quality is good, and considering I end up staying to study for at least 2 hours, I think it is worth it as a treat once in a while. If you are looking for a clean, homey place in Taipei near Shida to study, this is a nice choice. There are a lot of cute cafes in the neighborhood, but I haven't...
Read moreThis cafe is a hidden gem :) the location is very convenient close to daan park and in a very quite street . The ambiance are very relaxing suitable for chatting and even work or studying and the decorations are very nice and unique , feels like you are sitting in a cafe in Europe. We ordered a latte and a cappuccino for a drink and a dark chocolate cake & Berry tarte for desserts. Cappuccino is very very good and rich , the desserts ate so tasty. Only latte would be a little bit normal just at average . Will love to come again and it is a must visit cafe in taipei :)
