Halfway There — Restaurant in Da'an District

Truly a hidden gem in the alleyway. I was there only for the bar on the second floor with friends. We ordered this special “drink” where they poured an entire bottle of vodka in a hotpot and we were supposed to drink it as if we were drinking soup from a bowl. This was one of the most unique drinks that I have ever seen. The drink itself tasted pretty good too. It is a no-menu bar with delicious meals. We ordered mussel pasta with chilli and garlic, steak pasta with pink pesto sauce, century egg tofu with pickled pepper, and four different types of cocktails. The food is awesome and served in a large portion, and the cocktails are evocative!!

Do not judge a book based on its cover. We came here pretty early right at 6pm. It takes a while for them to make our drinks because the bartender was still preparing. They treat us back with two shots so customer service was awesome. The presentations of the drinks are amazing. We ordered 伯爵夫人的小狼狗(Earlgrey Gimlet) and 女神喝的酒(Tipsey Horae).
