This is a gem of a find.||It's about 15 mins walk from Daan MRT station - but you could screen shot the address in Chinese and get a taxi if you arrive late at night (as we did).||The sign for the hotel is above eye level on the building so you need to look up when you are looking for it!||The staff are so friendly and helpful. You can change large notes (NT$1000) at front reception (as MRT only takes NT$100 notes). They can also give you maps in English.||The room was lovely. Lots of extras to make you comfortable - free mini fridge with beer, coke and water as well as snacks (topped up daily). There was even a pile of fruit which got replaced when needed. There are the usual toiletries but also free folding hairbrush and even a plaster!||The bed was big and reasonably comfortable (Asian beds are always firmer) with good pillows. The shower was great - it even had a bath as well as a Japanese style toilet which was amazing!||Huge TV for both the bedroom and sittingroom and you can sign into your Netflix account and watch TV as well as a selection of English speaking channels.||The wardrobe is large and has a mini safe, iron/ironing board, robes and slippers. ||The breakfast is good - differs a bit each day so it stays interesting. Coffee is really good. You can bring one back up to your room whilst you get ready to go out for the day.||Daan station is on the red line MRT which connects to Taipei main station (so you can catch the train from the airport). The metro system is brilliant and really cheap to use (NT$20-50 approx 50p-£1 a journey).||A really great find and we had...

I recently spent seven nights at Les Suites Taipei – Da An, and it was a great experience overall. The hotel offers a reasonable price for the quality of service and amenities, making it a solid choice for both business and leisure travelers.
Breakfast: The inclusive breakfast features a good mix of Eastern and Western options, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
Cleanliness: Both the rooms and common areas were well-maintained and spotless throughout my stay.
Location: Situated in Da An District, the hotel is conveniently located between the Red and Blue MRT lines, with Zhongxiao Fuxing, Zhongxiao Dunhua, and Da An stations all within walking distance. This makes getting around Taipei easy and efficient.
Service: The staff were always friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere from check-in to check-out.
Room Experience: The rooms are spacious, providing plenty of room to work and relax, making it a great choice for business travelers. However, while still comfortable, the décor and in-room technology are starting to feel outdated and could use a refresh in the coming years.
Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5)
While the hotel could benefit from some renovations, the prime location, cleanliness, and great service make it a strong choice in Taipei. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to travelers looking for a well-located...
Read moreI stayed here for a week at the end of April (2017). I arrived on my birthday and the lovely staff had a cake for me in my room (a Baked Alaska to be precise). The gesture was thoroughly appreciated, and the baked alaska was spectacular. That beautifully flaky pastry skin...
I think the rooms vary depending on which you get. Mine had a bathtub, a teapot and teacups (ceramic & beautifully textured), as well as fruit. It had plenty of other things, but those were the little touches I loved the most.
The lighting in the room is pretty dim -- do your work in their lounge, where there is a constant supply of tea, coffee, and...PASTRIES! Think: chocolate biscuits and butter cookies.
Breakfast was sumptuous. Western cuisine (bacon & eggs, among other dishes), Korean and Japanese foods, as well as Chinese dishes. Superb selection of fruit, and really great bread/cheese platter.
Finally, the staff are extremely warm and friendly. I had multiple conversations with them while hanging out at their receptionist counter, and they were always helpful with suggestions. I even went to take a picture with them because I wanted to remember that we, for a moment in our lives, had shared time and stories...
