I’m Pasta 和平店 — Restaurant in Da'an District

Nice restaurant that I visit often. Price is pretty good and quality is fine. NTU students get free drink. My only complaint is the fact that the serving size of the pasta is not consistent. If you visit often you'll find that the size of your pasta may differ from the one you had previously, sometimes significantly. There was a probably a 0.5 difference in serving size between the two pastas I ate within a week; in other words, the meal was obviously smaller and I quickly became hungry again.

I recommend more care in ensuring the serving size is standardized and large...

The greatest baked risotto in Taipei (I am native in Taipei). It is kind of hard to believe such a delicacy with high-quality ingredients only costs around $150. The main dish is well-spiced and the lemon black tea (with some lemon peel, I guess) is an extraordinary great mate with the risotto. I would recommend to any friends that passes by.

However, other side dishes are only fair to me. I would rather have another...

Perhaps because of the rush hour, but I waited around an hour for my order. My order was pasta, Caesar, and coke. Pasta came about 30 minutes after ordering, and then only after staring intently at the cooks, someone came up to me and asked what it was I was waiting for. Only then did I get the coke, and -- most surprising of all -- right out of the fridge Caesar which tool less than two minutes. I could taste the fridge in that Caesar, might have been the worst I have ever had! It also reeked of butter, I am not sure why there would be butter all over romaine lettuce in Caesar. All in all, this was a ghastly experience and I am not keen on repeating it again.
