Past Times Cafe — Restaurant in Da'an District

We had this delightful lunch on a Saturday.

We ordered a shared meal for two, including Pasttime’s mix platter, spicy fried chicken wings, a giant bowl of Salami salad, two beverages and two desserts. We also ordered a German pork knuckle set meal (soup, drink, dessert included) and veggie risotto with tomato sauce. The dishes performed well. The atmosphere was incredibly comfy, which didn’t only come from the retro furnishings and music but also (most importantly) because of the attentive, hospitable and FUNNY staff. Dopest cafe in Taipei! We accidentally came across this place as we were desperately needing to get caffeine fix😂 the owner and staff were both super friendly and welcomed us in to sit at a much cooler area! Coffee, food and drink are so yummy and prices are very reasonable too considering the portion we got. The owner put a lot energy into decorating this place into American retro vibe which is really amazing! Will definitely come back here again and recommend...

Stumbled into this American oldie decorated cafe. The decorations remind me some restaurants back in the states with old license plates, pump stations, beer signs, and wheel caps. One staff was very friendly, interactive, and attentive. I had the British truffle skilled eggs as brunch and good American coffee for about 10$. I enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the location. If I am in the neighborhood again, I would stop by and try out...
