My go-to night market, I like it because it’s a neighborhood market, not a designated “tourist night market”, most stands and stalls are unique of it’s own, unlike the tourist market cut-and-paste food, you go to one, you went to all feeling. I go there most often for the sweet tofu (douhua) with a variety of their handmade toppings. They serve it iced all year long and the option of hot in the winter. There are several ice vendors, so I've attached a picture with the review for identification. I also like the Hokkaido squid soup that can be served with or without noodles to be more filling. Read moreit said 12am - this night market closes. We took a cab instead of a bus to rush since we just arrived in Taipei from Taichung and sogot exactly 10:30pm but almost all shops are close. So sad since today's my bday and I was hoping to eat at the nearest night market. Maybe tom I'll visit the more popular one.
We ate at one of the shops here instead but thankfully, the food was good but it would be nice if they put here the right closing time as to not waste time. I'm not also sure if the shops are really that small like I also saw 2 or 3 streets. Maybe I'll appreciate it more if shops are open.
