mid and lowk tax; The soup coulda been out of a Campbell can couldn't tell. Tastes fine, saltandpeppered adequately. The salad was probably assembled on the spot as the cheese cubes were sprinkled on top as opposed to being mixed into the salad. As a result, the vinaigrette didn't have time to soak in to the vegetables for a stronger flavor. Although I am not greek, I'm pretty sure bell peppers are not part of a traditional Mediterranean salad. Other than that, the vegetables were fresh, perhaps cut into slightly too large chunks, and I was presented the salad with a knife (lol?). The lamb should've came with more potatoes and carrots imo. The lamb itself was alright. The meat wasn't fall off the bone so it retained a bit of texture and chew, and the meat itself relies on the gravy sauce for flavor. It wasn't the most tender lamb shank I've had but it was alright i guess, at least it didn't taste bad. The rice that came with it severely lacked flavor despite it's colorful appearance. They also served me like half a bowl as you can see in the picture. You can tel the baklava was made by an asian chef cuz it was not sweet at all. Typically, the baklavas I've had were super sweet with honey oozing out of em and would prefer them to be a little less sweet, but this one is too undersweetened. It came out warm and was decently flaky tho. The drink was served with my baklava which is kinda weird, I would've preferred to have it with my main or at the beginning. Flavor was good, nice lime mint blueberry concoction and not too sweet. Overall, the food was decent, but the price was far higher than it deserved to be. Since Greek food is hard to find in Taiwan I guess this is somewhat justifiable, but for the amount of money you'd spend here you can get way better food in Taipei. (total was $1738 NTD) (over...

Unfortunately, our dining experience today was disappointing. The restaurant attempted to charge us for items we never received and did not offer an apology upon recognizing the mistake.

We ordered four items totaling around $1,500 NTD, and the staff confirmed our order. However, two items—a milk tea and a soup—were never delivered. When we requested our drink at the end of the meal, they initially brought the wrong one before correcting the mistake. While frustrating, this alone was not a major issue. The real problem was the soup, which never arrived despite our long wait. When we had to leave, they still tried to charge us for it. Even after acknowledging the mistake, there was no apology.

Mistakes happen, but at this price point, I expect a higher level of service—at the very least, an acknowledgment of the error. In Taipei, I can get a much better meal at a lower price with far superior service. I wish I could leave a positive review, but unfortunately, this was the worst dining experience I’ve had since...

Zorba doesn't have it anymore. I came back for a dinner after a seven-year hiatus, and I really wish I didn't. A set menu for two plus a shot of ouzo will set you back more than 1,500 NT$. The food is good but not great, it looks exotic and tastes slightly Mediterranean but the Greek spirit is gone. Just imagine, baklava is now a little sour and mildly sweet - what a letdown! The only thing that tastes genuine is ouzo, but if you - like most people, actually - are not into this anise liquor, you may skip it anyway. Certainly avoid that $460 vegetable beef stew (bottom of page 6).
