let me tell you about this awesome hot pot place in Taipei! It's seriously one of my absolute favorites. It's super convenient because it's just a short walk from an MRT station. Like, we're talking 3-4 minutes, tops!
Now, here's the best part. When you go there, you can indulge in unlimited drinks, veggies, desserts.And their menu is on point. They've got a great selection of high-quality meat and seafood options. You won't be disappointed!

The soup was very tasty and the ingredients fresh and plentiful. I ordered a classic soup base while my boyfriend ordered a spicy one and we both really enjoyed our meal.
They also give you a nice little dessert at the end and that was a big bonus for me.
I guess the only negative for me is that they give you pre made sauces, instead of you serving and mixing your own sauces. This is something that I personally like doing, but it isn't a big deal. Plus the sauces they served were actually pretty good.

Service was iffy - not knowing what ladle in Mandarin is, I asked for a big spoon. Was told to get it from the food bar. Went there and I was told to get it from the staff. Went back to the 1st staff I asked and she sounded irritated when she said it’s on the table. Showed her it wasn’t. She didn’t apologize and turned away without coming back with a ladle.
And the sukiyaki was the worst I’ve tasted. It was cold and abhorrently sweet. To top it off, there was not a single itsy bit of meat - only onions!
