we were really looking forward to coming here, but unfortunately it was a let down. We were met with really rude service, really rushed dining. uncomfortable experience and unpleasant staff members who scold and yell at you. we couldn't even make our valentines day reservation as they told us they wouldn't accomodate us if we made it even 1 min later than their kitchen cutoff time even though we explained there was an emergency that caused our delay and we'd be driving 30 mins to get there. We decided to still give them a try the next day and arrived early. We came and so many dishes were not available on their menu that we drove in the harsh winds to come and try. We were also barely greeted and the overall ambience was stiff and cold. The manager came out and literally yelled at us in front of other customers. they were out of soup and another dish on their set meal, so they offered black tea as a replacement but we did not want caffeine so late at night and wanted either a soup or salad. She came charging out and was so angry and her tone was loud and super aggressive. All we simply had asked her why it was not possible to switch out to a salad which was cheaper than tea and or, provide us with a discount if we excluded the tea from the meal so that we could have options. she tried to force us to take the tea it was ridiculous. The entire team was lazy and unfriendly it was disappointing to say the least. She ended up serving us big fat chunks of fat for the beef and I got mild food poisoning and suffered from cramps all night, I'm not sure what the manager / chef did to our food but it was obvious that she tampered with it because she was annoyed at us asking her for an alternative option. We asked nicely as well and tried our best to reason with her, but obviously we came to enjoy our meal and wanted to have freedom to spend on what we want. We could have visited any other restaurant in town as there are plenty of options anyway. So we just feel that their arrogant attitude was really not respectful nor appreciative of any of the customers. They treated everyone rudely in the store, we could see it as the store is quite small. Anyway, would not recommend it sadly even though the dish flavors were good and the price...

Wish I read all the reviews prior to our visit. The place is cozy meaning small. The staff is friendly but slow. We waited 30+ mins for a table on Wednesday lunch hour which isn’t too bad. But the wait for the food was brutal. Took 25 mins after ordering to receive the pre-made drink and 30 mins for the soup. And close to 40 mins for our food. The taro+ribs dish was soooo sweet like someone knocked over syrup over it. The tomato pasta was just so plain and watery.

The appetizers we ordered came AFTER we all finished our food. It was just 2 very simple fried dish that came from pre-made frozen food. The fried glass noodle app is just regular Korean friend glass noodle you buy at super market.

Really neat restaurant in the Hengchun township! Came here while traveling to Kenting and after having visited the Wanlitong Diving Area (which is a lot of fun, by the way. Get a snorkel and flippers at Decathlon and come here).

Ordered the sliced pork with boiled meat sauce Onigiri Meal with seafood salad and tuna Onigiri. The miso soup here is also excellent and comes with the meal, and all components of the meal are just superb. Highly recommend this place. It's amazing with an excellent atmosphere, but the prices here are definitely a tad high....
