ABV Bar & Kitchen Japanese — Restaurant in Hsinchu

ABV hsinchu opened as a Japanese style restaurant. I have been to their other branches in Taipei and I was really excited when one of them opened in my city. Make sure to have a reservation before going there because this place gets very crowded. They have a huge number of Japanese appetizers and main dishes to choose from and all kinds of fusion food. The finger food is amazing and the main dishes are really delicious. But the speciality of this place is the collection of beers they have on any given day they could have at least 100 different beers inside their stock. Just go up to the fridge and talk to the waiter is present and they will explain to you which is what kind of beer and you can tell them your preference and they will help you select one. The place of course is pricey but this dining is definitely meant to be premium. The Japanese style roasted meat was really delicious. I wish they had a little more western choices but then again in Taiwan pekple love the Japanese cuisines....

Cozy place with verity beer selections, if u have no idea what to pick up, staffs there are friendly and helpful. We wanna pairing dishes we ordered, so staff there helped and came out with some stunning matching! A place can hangout with friends and have some drinks! Just one thing pity… that we left the points card ( each beer bottle has a sticker on it and u can collect it for later to redeem sth) on the table and couldn’t get it back anymore. Probably should have drink less so we would be sober enough not to...

I definitely recommend ABV bar & Kitchen. The food is very tasty, the ambiance is really nice (love the music) AND they have more than 300 beers to choose from. The staff was really good at recommending beer that we would like (I am not really an expert when it comes to beer ) and I appreciate that they were able to speak very good english with me.
