I can’t even begin to express how incredibly fortunate I felt to stumble into the bar on a quiet weekday and meet the phenomenal bartender, Anthony. From the moment I sat down, his warm smile and genuine enthusiasm for his craft made me feel right at home. It’s rare to encounter someone so passionate about what they do, and Anthony’s energy was absolutely contagious. He didn’t just make drinks—he created experiences, and I’m still raving about it days later!

The highlight of my visit was, without a doubt, the Romo Gin Fizz. Oh my goodness, where do I even start? This drink was an absolute masterpiece—hands down one of the most extraordinary cocktails I’ve ever tasted. The way the flavors came together was pure magic: the crisp, botanical notes of the gin, the subtle fizz that danced on my tongue, and a perfectly balanced sweetness that tied it all together. Every sip felt like a little celebration, and I could tell that Anthony poured his heart into crafting it. If you’re a foreign visitor, tourist or exchange student you know how trying out a new bar can be a little bit of a gamble. Many places in Taipei for example can come off as unfriendly or not a place you’re welcome in.

This bar was inviting and laid back despite its very posh and clean interior.

Although the drinks appear gimmicky or cute, they actually taste quite great. They don’t just add so much sugar so you don’t taste the alcohol - they compliment it. This is especially true for their whiskey bevs like mule or old fashioned.

The bar tender is patient and is happy to try to help you order, I brought a friend who can’t speak Chinese and they didn’t feel like a child in Olive Garden ordering for themselves off the kiddy menu.

「座位不多，建議訂位！我們總共7人先訂位才有沙發區可坐🤣！」 來到研究所附近比較多酒吧的金山街周邊 終於第一次來將進酒了！ 離開新竹前 找以前大學ㄉ北漂新竹仔一起出來喝酒！ 感覺又回到以前大學畢業前那些每天一起玩的日子XD不過大家也都長大了（有吧？）（有嗎？） 還沒開始點餐 就有來過的朋友一直激推鮮蝦水餃（$180）XDD（好吵）（？） 所以第一點直接叫一盤XD 好啦水餃皮蠻Qㄉ！不過裡面ㄉ蝦子如果不是泡水蝦會更好🤣（海鮮控⋯） 薯條（$90）、鹹豬肉（$200）都好吃！在酒吧能吃到這些熱食算很讚ㄉㄌ！ 我的第一杯點的是丫鬟偷閒的午後時光（$350） 上面漂著一層鹹奶蓋！ 伯爵香氣很搭⋯身為奶酒中毒愛好者⋯第一次喝有奶蓋的調酒～很不錯！酒感蠻輕的～入喉的香氣真的好喝⋯份量剛好！ 第二杯點的是沖繩生啤酒（$180） 算清爽順口～不過還是無法超越生啤酒王18天🍺🥺 我們7人平均一個人都喝2-3杯，其中我朋友超愛的野格炸彈（$250）我們總共點了3杯xd（到底奪愛？🤣） 我第一次喝，原本沒有愛，因為他的香精味有點重、有化學感，但不知道為喝到後面超愛⋯幾乎沒有酒感，完全是一杯騙妹酒🙂 甜甜ㄉ、糖果味、很容易不小心喝太多🍸 招牌將進酒（$350）好喝～有酒感、味道很順！ 長島冰茶點了一杯正常版（$350）和醉漢版（$400） 正常版只有兩層，醉漢版有三層⋯ 醉漢版真的慎入⋯酒感重⋯喝兩口就超暈XD兩個酒量好的朋友直接喝到ㄎㄧㄤ掉😵‍💫 超好笑🤣 將進酒整體環境算乾淨～氣氛也不錯！裝潢是中國風的，蠻有特色的 重點是酒真的很好喝⋯我們直接從21:00喝到2:00XD還沒有喝到雷的！ 還被店家請shot...
