Service is decent for hsinchu though still much room for improvement (wrong charges, weird food suggestions due to unfamiliarity of menu...).
4 pax visited for biz lunch. Asked their head server to go ahead to make suggestions for us. Henwent away without even telling us what he had intented to serve.
He started serving some stripped down appetitizers (ingredients removed from regularly order dishes) plus a basket of fries. Afterwards, again, started serving 3x stripped down carbos plates (all simplified regularly served pastas. Meat all stripped off). They so served a watery pizza but claimed to be "free". Not a bite of any meat at all. Amazing.
Instead of simply just suggesting a pre fixed set for 4, this scammie joint took the opportunity to charge for that but served a sub standard meal just yo save a few $. And the devil is in the details.... Since the head server took over to orchestrate our meals for 4, the genius served everything in portions of 3’s. Errrr, ok, knowing how to count needs to be a basic skill being in that position.
My question is, how does this place stay opened?! They claimed they have new duet-chefs recently as their selling point sincentgeir previous menu has gotten to be old, boring, and outdated. But guys,...
Read moreI would recommend Buono Bella to the people interested in Italian cuisine --a healthier, lighter and delissimo version. My friends and I had lunch at Buono Bella last July. Our hor d'oeuvre consisting of mixed greens and charcoal-grilled seafood was fabulous. The filet mignon served on Teppanyaki was as tender and succulent as it could be. The steak also went perfectly well with tarragon leaves sprinkled with roasted sesame. Though the chef claimed a dash of coarse sea salt and black pepper was all it took to create the refined flavor, it is hard to believe such simplicity could reach the result. Could it be the right marbling of the teak doing the trick? The pizza containing apple dices, walnut chips and 8 kinds of cheese was just divine! Gee I can't imagine I am using the word "divine" to describe my most hateful food! But it's unusually tasty...

The place is well decorated and is coasy.
The staff are pro and providing good service.
They have set menus (including starters, main dishes & desserts) for in average 3-4 people and also also à la carte... az we were 10, we ordered one of the set meus + some other dishes.
The Startes we had (Calamari and frid shrimps ) were very good. The pizzas are good. The pastas are fairly okay. The is good also. Deserts are nice also.
Don't be surprised they are not serving water for free like anywhere else in Taiwan! You have to choose steel or sparkling and pay for it.
If you are from Italy, then you will not be very pleased. However, I have to say this is a good restaurant.
If you are...
