千喜 日式料理 — Restaurant in Hualien City

Huge Sashimi This is the best Japanest restaurant I have been to. I was at 千喜 on weekend nights with my family to have dinner. The restaurant's located near the Municipal Children's Library. The sashimi here is fresh and huge! Each set meal also has sashimi,the portion is also very large, you can eat until full. The food price is totally acceptable, the set meal can be full for as long as NT$300~400 to fill you up,and everyone can get a small bowl of mung bean soup anacks after the meal. The lighting in the store is dim, but the food looks better under the lights atmosphere. A decent place for Japanese food in Hualien. Just like most Japanese food restaurants in Taiwan, the flavours here are modified, much more catering to local people's tastes and preference. Super warm neighbourhood atmosphere, chatter & cheerfulness in this small place. Some of the best Satsuma-age & hand-rolled Avocado-sweet shrimp rolls I’ve eaten.
