慧萊素食 — Restaurant in Hualien City

English menu available! Sparkling clean Taiwanese restaurant, which is hard to find in Taiwan. I ate here a few times while visiting Hualien on vacation. The different varieties of fried rice are all excellent, good for my little kids. My favorites were satay fried rice, cashew fried rice, the veg sides in the glass case were also good. The "risotto" is more of a rice casserole: sauteed veggies with a soupy sauce over rice, not bad. The ice tea which is free with a meal is amazing, the waitress told me it's coffee black...

English menu,the braised noodles (soup) are amazing. Big portions, soup and tee free included. The side dishes in the display are all 40NT. So if you dont order the expensive dishes from the back of the menu it‘s an amazing price value. The dishes that are not vegan(with egg) are easy...
