森山舎 morning mountain — Restaurant in Hualien City

Nice food presentation and pleasant ambiance. The overall taste of the dishes was of good quality. However, the service was very disappointing, which unfortunately stood out negatively compared to other restaurants we visited during our entire trip to Taiwan.

We were a group of eight people seated at a large table last week. As our children took slightly longer to decide their orders, the lady who took our order at the counter expressed her impatience and informed us that some items had been sold out due to our indecision (in Mandarin). Although we were understanding and willing to place another order, her attitude was unprofessional and left us feeling uncomfortable.

Another incident occurred when our food was served. The waitress placed a sausage on our table without any explanation. Initially, we were confused but assumed it might be a side dish, so we finished it. However, half an hour later, the other waitress approached us and coldly informed us that the sausage was meant for another table. She requested payment for the sausage without apologizing or explaining the inconvenience this error had caused us.

We still managed to enjoy our time. However, the overall experience has left a bitter impression due to the unsatisfactory...

Looks like a little old cottage house from the outside, but inside is a cozy, industrial aesthetics.

Good mood good mood Menu consisted of toasts, homemade bread plate, curry rice, rice, small desserts... sets come with fresh salad, soup, black tea. The soup tasted a little off, but overall acceptable.

Window greenery with beautiful food. A great place for relaxation. But there is always a crowd so it is recommended...
