賴桑壽司屋 — Restaurant in Hualien City

Firstly, lousy customer service as we had to self service to get a toddler seat while carrying stuff and toddler in arm.

Secondly, never had such lousy food for this price anywhere else except here. Food was tasteless and not really to previous levels they had.

Thirdly, fruits served were not fresh. We had to get the waiters to serve new ones.

Lastly, we were forbidden to pay with credit cards for NTD 30,000 as the cashier said they had to absorb card fees themselves if we paid with credit cards.

Sadly, this will be the last time we are patronising this place as there are many better...

Very Taiwanese influenced Japanese food. The fish was fresh and delicious but preparation was just ok. I ordered an uni hand roll which was filled with sweet Taiwanese style mayonnaise. In my opinion it didn’t go well together at all. The torched scallop nigiri and torched salmon nigiri were torched too much. It was pretty much fully cooked fish by the end, and the scallop was way too over cooked that it was like dry rubber. Prices were also way too high for what you were getting. Japanese Restaurant - First and foremost, it is a Taiwanese style Japanese Restaurant. With that said, it offers great value and good portion sizes and decent sashimi. At NT 6,000 for a 10 persons meal set, it is difficult to find this much fresh seafood within the city. Just don't expect top quality service, and try non-seafood dishes at your own peril.
