Parallel Space & Time Teahouse — Restaurant in Hualien City

Really love this nostalgic and cute restaurant, super good find in 花莲!! 🫶 From the vibes to the location to the design to the taste of food, everything was 💯👍🥰!

Loved the bento set menu the most, options were aplenty. The fried pepper chicken and 卤肉饭 were the most delicious items for me!! Pepper chicken was superrrr flavourful and yummy, vegetable portion was generous, and the soup served on the side was very comforting and healthy 🥰.

Had iced chrysanthemum and red tea for drinks and both were SOOO refreshing to drink in this crazy heat, coupled with the fact that it was sugarless and you can really enjoy the flavour without all the artificial stuff added.

Ambience of the place is nice, quiet and soothing. Love the decorations all around, really nostalgic and brings good memories and vibes 😊😌. We loved this place so much that we came here two days in a row during our three day stay in 花莲☺️❤️! The cakes on display also look super delicious but had to practice some...

Fried chicken set - 3.5 stars The chicken was pretty crispy but it was soaked in oil and just tasted like oil.

Mackerel set - 4.5 stars Delicious! I love mackerel and this was a good one.

Lu rou fan / braised pork set - 4 stars Loved the taste but the pork was a bit too fatty. Not much meat compared to rice as with most places.

Fruit tea - 4.5 stars Loved this - tasted like a yummy fresh fruit ice lemon tea.

Milk tea - 4 stars Not too sweet.

Pomelo tea - 4 stars Got it warm. Not too sweet.

Overall it was a refreshing change of atmosphere - an air-conditioned cute cafe. You'll have to bus your own trays. NT$670...

很不敢置信的花蓮居然也有這種高質感而且餐點好吃的特色復古小店(其實也沒有很小間啦~)

本來第一天要光顧，結果因為颱風天沒有營業，不過店主也很迅速地在google map上面貼心回覆，有粉絲業可以即時知道店裡最新動態。

隔天不死心的還是想衝一次，太開心了有營業，點了一堆吃的。

滷肉飯套餐 99~ 那個滷肉看起來就是很欠吃，雖然不是我吃過最好吃的滷肉飯，但是也是很可以，而且很多肥肉我愛 XD，配湯也很好喝，當天是玉米湯，喝起來甘甜但不是味精那種。

椒麻雞套餐 169~天啊這個椒麻雞處理的太酥脆，重點是裡面的肉還是嫩的!!! 很少這種復古店家可以把這道料理用的很合我口味，搞得現在在家都很想吃.....

煉乳銀絲卷 49~ 雖然很多地方賣這道菜色不會用的多差，不過這裡也是炸得很剛好怎麼這樣好吃!!!

古早味紅茶 喝起來不會澀，好喝。

最後吃完這些滿意的主食後嘴饞又去點了一個重乳酪蛋糕，難道這櫥窗裡自己做的甜點都那麼好吃嗎??? 這個乳酪蛋糕也是沒有一百分也有八九十了。

這間帶有濃厚復古味的平行時空，從店外到店內都可以看到用心，尤其是我看到店內電視撥放的卡通剪輯，居然從很古老的卡通到近期的都有剪輯進去，不曉得是自己剪的還是外面有這種版本可以買? (但我覺得應該不太可能....)

對了店內好像只提供現金，沒有刷卡服務。

總之，來就對了。

還有，好像這附近還有幾間店都很有特色也是不錯可以考慮的，值得探索!!
