Oh my god forget the zoo - which is amazing btw, I mean all the animals were out showing themselves either upright or in horizontal fashion, especially the pigmy hippo showing off his swimming skills playing with his ball! All for £1 per adult ticket NTD40! Unlike the London zoo, where no animal gave a crap and cost £30 per ticket!
Sorry, back to the review for this restaurant - I would come back here straight line just for the beef noodle soup! We went there today, 25 July, in 30-degree heat, with our 2 young children. I was in absolute hell suffering from the heat and humidity sweating profusely to a point where I felt my bra and knickers were soaked, I was MELTING! Me and my youngest actually wanted to give up and go back to our hotel after only 15min in but my dear husband insisted that we should stay and bloody sweat it all out (i was very hot and bothered to say the least).
However, we didn't know there was this cafe here, and seeing a sign of cafe was the best thing that happened to me and my butt (literally), because that meant - "AIR-CONDITIONING"!
Now about the the food - back in London I'd normally expect nothing from anything served inside any zoo in the UK. But this place right here in this Taiwan zoo absolutely blew me away! I ordered the only noodle dish there was on the menu (I'm a noodle lover) and honestly i didn't expect anything more than the aircon. To my surprise, the noodle soup was THE BEST I've ever had! The presentation was modern, clean and tidy. Both my daughters enjoyed their shrimp katsu curry from the children’s menu, my husband enjoyed the chicken katsu curry too.
Once we got back to the hotel I realised this place was rated 4.7. Well, I would say it really is at least a 4.7, more like 4.8 in my honest opinion (and I'm a very picky person!) So here you go, great zoo, great cafe, great aircon/atmosphere, and most importantly, great food! I'd...
Read moreBrand new and updated restaurant located inside of the Zoo. They have elevator access to the second floor where the restaurant is located. Their menu has a good selection of food options for everyone. They offer a Kids menu, vegetarian options, Thai, appetizers and drinks. You order by scanning their QR code and pay at the counter. My only issue is the food comes out a bit slow maybe they’re short staffed? They also have a very small gift shop inside and offer zoo logo items. Their restrooms are located on the first floor. Overall food is tasty and plentiful. I recommend you get there early as there will be a long wait and the view of the elephants is taken quickly. I recommend you stop by when you’re hungry. Also if you give them a google five star review they offer you a...

They have a variety of foods and snacks, but it is very general in quality. Staff is always busy, but kind when asked questions. A quick and easy solution for the beating sun or quick...
