富國牛排 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

This was the best lunch I have ever had in Kaohsiung so far!!!! When u arrive at the place, looking from outside you can’t imagine how amazing your experience will be!!!! At first we arrived and we were hosted by a very careful and nice waiter who came and placed us in our table… after looking at the menu and made our choice before placing our order the waiter made sure to confirm and explain every detail of our choices.. that was very nice to see!!! The lunch experience started with a fresh, crunchy and hot bread with a butter that is out of this world with White Sea salt and oh boy how amazing it is… after pointing out that the bread was amazing the waiter offered us another round of bread and butter to match with our plates of Truffled spaghetti and chicken cream soup that also were amazing!!! The sequence was our scallops and lobster plate which was good but not as good as everything else (not that was bad, but everything was soooo incredible that the scallops weren’t at same high level) To complete the lunch we had the main course that was a Wagyu A5 steak and a Ribeye Steak and here I don’t even have words to describe!!!! This is an exquisite place tucked away just a couple of blocks from the Kaohsiung Marriott. Cosy ambience with extremely calming music. I was merely looking for something to satisfy dinner cravings after a full day trip to Alishan - without a proper lunch to boot. The original place I wanted to go to was closed so I walked down a street only to discover this gem of a place. Everything was top notch. From the french butter and appetizer, right down to the Miyazaki A5 wagyu and dessert. Service was impeccable. The staff were very attentive to my needs yet not overly so, which is something I very much appreciate. Efi's service was top notch as were others who served me. What a find! I. Am. Coming. Back.
