Marukame Seimen — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

We are visitors/ foreigners who know how to speak mandarin, however sometimes we have difficulties to understand certain words or phrases that are deemed common among the Taiwanese.

可能此間分店只歡迎常客用餐？

雖然知道丸龜製麵很久了， 但是今天是第一次來用餐。

晚上七點左右，只有我一位客人要點餐，由於排隊入口處並未有詳細的點餐步驟指引，拿了餐盤跟小菜碟之後，因為不確定如何點餐，四處張望了一下，還和煮麵台前的員工對到了好幾次眼，但由於該員工完全沒有詢問我需要什麼餐點，所以我以為他是專門負責內場煮麵的師傅。

於是我便先往前移動，自行夾取了天婦羅後，再前往結帳櫃檯，跟結帳人員說我要什麼餐點，結果我居然被引導回去前面入口處，要求我先點餐？！

回去之後，我又看了一下煮麵台的師傅，不確定我是否要跟他點餐，但由於櫃檯結帳人員把我引導到前面後，她就離開了，所以整個吧台只有剩下煮麵台的師傅，於是我禮貌開口詢問他，我是否該向他點餐？

我是沒想到他會說，他已經在幫我煮了，可能是他有聽到或看到我跟櫃檯結帳人員說我要吃什麼了。

雖然最後仍是順利取完餐，但整個點餐體驗卻不是太好；如果加個點餐指引，例如：「請先向面前的工作人員點要什麼麵食，再往前夾取小菜或天婦羅後，至櫃檯結帳。」

可能對我這種第一次來消費的顧客且I到不行的人會比較友好一點；雖然我也不確定這次消費體驗過後我還會不會再來，但老實說東西還是不錯吃的。
