Meticulous and precise in execution, this gastronomical treat is not to be missed of you are here in Kaohsiung, Taiwan! This is the Taiwanese branch of the famous, Michelin starred Ukai Group, the only teppanyaki restaurant to receive such recognition. From the grand entrance at the lobby where you are greeted by their staff, to the elegant elevators, to the lavishly decorated dining area, everything is carefully arranged to ensure an out of this world experience. The food, naturally, is top quality with ingredients sources globally, including bamboo shoots from Holland and olive oil from Italy, etc. The sirloin and tenderloin Kobe beef were out of this world. Perfectly done. Lobster soup was just brilliant. Presentation was elegant and lavish. The appetizers were all very special in their own way. Towards the end, a very simple fried rice (using special Japanese rice) with nothing else added other than a little bit of soy sauce, little bit of garlic, and the white rice turns into a smoky, sticky, ever so tasty bowl of fried rice - strangely probably the best part of this amazing meal. Perfect place to celebrate with your loved ones.

Meticulous service- the service is incredible. From before you enter the Silk hotel, they remind you of the stairs, they push the chairs in for you every time you come back to your seat, the story and introduction to every dish, really makes this place special. The employees are trained to be very ninja like, extremely well mannered, and we don’t even notice when they refill our water, or show up behind us because they’re so quiet.

Amazing quality of food- everything was cooked so perfectly, and well seasoned. We ordered the wagyu rump and the tenderloin. Highly recommend to just go for the tenderloin if you’re ordering beef. It melts in your mouth. Even when I asked mine to be cooked well done, and it still taste juices, tender, and incredible. They accommodate all your dietary needs on top of that!

Safe environment - very happy to have gaps between each group even tho we’re seated around the grill, so we’re not too close to other people, and feel safe...

🤔It’s abit confusing in the beginning, as this place are abit difficult to find, plus it serve 3 different type of menu.

🤩 But once I follow the clear instructions and reach the place, I get amaze by the service and place.

👨‍🍳 Service crew and chef of the day include: De Hui, Yuno and chef Yi Jian. They are so friendly and passion with their role.

And the place are well design and deco, it’s like very obvious the main goal of the owner are not in profiting from the business🤣

Nevertheless, the food is amazing, from what I heard from the chef, they change their menu on different season, plus they will keep on design new food that are delicious and creative.
