Urban Aboriginal Tribe Restaurants — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

What a cute place! The food here was great. The host was very friendly and nice enough to offer to take photos. She even brought props out for us to take photos in their cute yard.

She said there is usually an aboriginal performance in the evening. Thought it would be good to bring out of town guests.

The restaurant has an open space, outdoors and indoor rooms. The indoor room we dined in was a/c'ed and had fresh, natural wood scents coming from the logs in the wall....

A great atmosphere and delicious food. The restaurant intends to provide a unique culinary and cultural experience. Even though some might find the introduction to indigenous culture somewhat exoticising and ornamental, I guess one has to start from somewhere. The food is outstanding and beautifully presented. The staff are very kind and the service is prompt. If you are in town, definitely stop...

The interior decor of this restaurant really stood out to me. It was all wood oriented and reminded me of a cabin with cultural artefacts hanging on the wall. Food was tasty with some interesting dishes on the menu (like crocodile​ penis). Live music during our meal was enjoyable but a little too loud for dinner...
