Was doing a self guide tour in luodong, saw this place with Google review.
Got a seat even though without any bookings, lovely staff, then we started ordering.
I ordered 10 dishes which I think it would be more than sufficient for 2 pax.
Another tall chubby waitress came over to attend to us and gently reminded us, this ain't gonna be enough for you, you might want to order more as the waiting time for your next order gonna be very long.
As she already mentioned the dishes are not enough, so I presume the portion was small. Thus I ordered doubled 6 original dishes.
Food came, the fish soup was decent but boney in some of the fish. Thick pork fillet, was good and juicy. Next came the sashimi with a big portion of fresh wasabi, which looks great. However the wasabi already lost its flavour, the red snapper is falling apart and hanging on by its own membrane. The radish is seeping out water. The aburi sashimi, only had the scorched taste left and a slight hint of its original flavour. The sesame tofu was thick and creamy which I like. The following few pieces of chicken thigh skewers was next to tasteless that I need to add soy sauce, to figured out if they even marinated it and doubting myself it's the soup that was salty but my partner confirm it is tasteless. The wings was charred nicely but again flavourless, again thinking if they had marinated it or simply barbecued too long.
I also ordered, 2 sets of bacon hanjuku eggs, 2 sets of stirred fried pork belly, 2 sets of bbq mushrooms, 2 sets of overnight mackerel (一夜干).
All of this was because the waitress say 1 set wasn't enough, my fault for listening. Therefore, I sincerely suggest the next customer, to go night market eat some food...
