羅東紅豆湯圓 — Restaurant in Luodong

I have to say this shop is one of the best if not the best place we have eaten in Luodong. It is just a block behind the Luodong night market and I saw this on IG and decided to give it a try. I didn't know the menu is so limited in the shop. It's either the red bean soup, rice dumpling soup or the red bean rice dumpling soup. I can just tell you there is only one option: to pick the best which has best of both worlds. Don't underestimate this bowl of red bean rice dumpling soup. First the red bean soup, the red beans are boiled until so soft it doesn't require much chewing it just just go right down with the soup. I like the sweetness of the soup, it's so perfect and good you don't feel it's not sweet nor too sweet. The rice dumplings is the main highlight. Didn't expect one bowl to have so many, and we are looking at maybe 20 or more! The more incredible thing is it's so soft I don't know how to describe, even softer than mochi. So soft and so enjoyable. Really have to recommend this place and anyone visiting Luodong should give this place a visit. That bowl of goodness is just 45TWD and I can tell you so cheap and it can bring you the joy and satisfaction after finishing it. So simple and so good....
