Interesting architecture. A great civic space where locals hang out. There are mainly 3 parts to this place - the "outdoor stage" for performances, an "art corridor" (the yilan art awards were being exhibited when I was there), a rooftop deck with a 360 degree view of the buildings around - though they aren't exactly pretty. One of the few sites to see in Luodong. A real gem of modern architecture to explore, stands out from everything else in the town. Fun park for kids, nice art gallery upstairs, and a large observation platform--too bad most of the view is all the surrounding ugly buildings and billboards. 羅東文化工坊位於宜蘭縣羅東鎮，是一座融合文化展演、社區活動與都市綠地的公共建築，由黃聲遠 | 田中央聯合建築師事務所設計，於2013年完工。這座建築以「開放的城市客廳」為概念，強調空間的流動性與與都市環境的連結，為羅東提供了一處結合藝術、人文與生活的公共場域。

是一個當地人會去運動、散步的地方，大跨度的頂棚搭配斜向的建築非常震撼，建築人必去的景點！

建築理念與特色

羅東文化工坊的設計不以傳統建築形式為主，而是透過開放的框架與錯落的量體，創造出與環境互動的空間，主要特色包括： 開放性與穿透感：建築物以鋼構與混凝土框架組成，沒有明確的主立面，四面都可以通行，讓人自由進出，形成開放的社區場域。 架高設計：底層以架高方式設計，保留地面的開放空間，成為一處遮蔽但通風良好的公共廣場，適合市集、展演與社區活動。 層次豐富的立體綠化：除了地面廣場，建築內部與屋頂設有不同高度的綠化空間，提供多樣的活動場域，也讓建築與環境融合。 框景與光影變化：透過幾何框架與留白，形成不同角度的視覺穿透，使人們在行走時能感受到光影、空氣與環境的變化。
